How Stem Cells Work in Wound Healing

CARE FOR EVERY SITUATION

How We work step by Step

Healix360 Advanced Mobile Wound Care apart is our commitment to making advanced treatment simple and accessible. Too many patients are left struggling without clear answers, often unaware that regenerative wound care even exists.

Reduction of Inflammation

Reduction of Inflammation

Chronic wounds stay inflamed too long. Stem cells naturally calm this inflammation, preventing tissue damage and creating a balanced environment for healing and regeneration.

Formation of New Blood Vessels

Formation of New Blood Vessels

Stem cells release VEGF and related factors that stimulate new capillary formation, enhancing oxygen and nutrient flow to establish optimal conditions for tissue regeneration and healing.

Collagen and Matrix Stimulation

Collagen and Matrix Stimulation

Stem cells prompt fibroblasts to build collagen and restore the extracellular matrix, providing the scaffold needed for wounds to close and tissues to heal.

Direct Tissue Regeneration

Direct Tissue Regeneration

Stem cells can become skin, fibroblast, or endothelial cells, directly aiding wound closure and forming stronger, healthier tissue that resists future breakdown.

Long-Term Remodeling

Long-Term Remodeling

Even after the wound closes, stem cells continue to influence the area by reducing scar tissue formation and improving the overall quality of the healed skin.

        OUR BENIFITS

Why Amniotic Membranes Work So Well

One of the most advanced and exciting tools in regenerative wound care is the amniotic membrane graft. These grafts are derived from the inner layer of a human placenta, which is normally discarded after a birth. However, this tissue is incredibly rich in the very elements wounds need to heal—growth factors, extracellular matrix proteins, collagen, and even native stem cells.
Amniotic membranes are procured ethically and safely from mothers who have undergone a planned cesarean section and have consented to donate. Each graft is carefully screened and processed, undergoing rigorous testing for communicable diseases and sterilization procedures to ensure safety. To date, there have been zero reported adverse effects, and studies show a 95% success rate in achieving full wound closure within 6 to 8 weeks when used appropriately.

        OUR BENIFITS

Why Amniotic Membranes Work So Well

Amniotic membranes contain natural growth factors, collagen, and anti-inflammatory agents that reduce pain, prevent infection, and accelerate healing—making them highly effective for chronic, hard-to-heal wounds.

        0

        Natural Biological Scaffold

The membrane itself acts like a natural dressing, providing a ready-made scaffold for new tissue to grow on. It mimics the extracellular matrix your body would normally build, allowing skin cells to migrate and cover the wound.

        0

        Loaded with Growth Factors

Amniotic tissue is rich in epidermal growth factor (EGF), transforming growth factor (TGF-β), and other molecules that directly stimulate cell division and tissue regeneration. These factors dramatically accelerate healing compared to a standard dressing.

        0

        Anti-Inflammatory & Anti-Scarring

Amniotic membranes naturally reduce inflammation and help minimize scar formation. They also contain hyaluronic acid, which keeps the wound environment moist and conducive to repair.

        0

        Protection from Infection

The graft forms a physical barrier over the wound, protecting it from bacteria and reducing infection risk while still allowing oxygen flow.

At Healix360, our mission goes beyond wound treatment—it’s about restoring hope and transforming lives. We believe no one should have to suffer with a chronic or non-healing wound, and we work every day to show patients that advanced solutions are available. By combining cutting-edge regenerative medicine with the convenience of mobile wound care, we’re creating a future where healing is faster, safer, and within reach for everyone.

        The Big Picture

When stem cell therapy and amniotic membrane grafts are used together, they create a powerful synergy—stem cells stimulate your body’s repair mechanisms, while the amniotic membrane provides the physical and biological foundation for new tissue to grow. For patients struggling with non-healing wounds, this combination has transformed care outcomes, leading to faster closures, reduced pain, fewer infections, and a dramatically improved quality of life.
